HVAC System Inspection in Kansas City

If your HVAC system is not inspected regularly, small issues can quickly turn into costly repairs. At Midwest Duct Cleaning, we provide thorough HVAC system inspections for homes and businesses across Kansas City.

Our team has been serving the community since 1986, and we take pride in giving customers clear answers about the condition of their system. Every inspection includes photos and a written report, so you always know what is happening inside your ducts and equipment.

Protect Your Home and Family with Regular HVAC Check-Ups

Your heating and cooling system works hard year-round. Over time, dust, moisture, and wear can affect efficiency and safety. A professional inspection helps you:

  • Catch problems early before they become expensive repairs
  • Improve indoor air quality by identifying dust, mold, or airflow issues
  • Save on energy bills with a system that runs more efficiently
  • Extend system lifespan by keeping equipment in good working order
  • Protect your family’s health and safety with checks for leaks, blockages, and mold growth

Unlike a quick tune-up, our inspections are detailed, NADCA-guided evaluations of your system. You will see exactly what we see, with photos and notes that are easy to understand.

What We Inspect

Every HVAC system is a little different, but our standard inspection covers:

  • Air Handler and Blower Motor: checking for dust buildup, proper operation, and signs of wear
  • Evaporator and Condenser Coils: making sure coils are clean and free of corrosion or blockages
  • Drain Pan and Condensate Lines: ensuring water drains properly and mold does not form
  • Accessible Ductwork and Registers: inspecting for dust, leaks, or visible mold
  • Visible Safety Components: reviewing insulation and other key elements that affect safe operation
  • Overall Efficiency: assessing whether your system is moving air evenly throughout your home or business

We use both cell phone cameras and a push-rod camera to capture what is inside your system. You will receive a written report with photos, so you can make informed decisions about cleaning, repairs, or upgrades.

Worked Quickly, Quietly, and Efficiently

Our ducts hadn’t been cleaned in 30 years, and we’ve had noticeable difficulties with runny noses and sneezing. They came 20 minutes early, worked quickly, quietly, and efficiently. They were careful while moving equipment and hoses throughout the house, and cleaned up everything when they were finished. It took them about 3 and half hours to complete the job, but this morning we already were able to notice a difference in the ‘clean’ air.
